Mark of the Lamb
God is amazing. He has let us live in so many neat places spanning from the varied terrain of Lubbock, Texas to the flatlands of England - or something like that. At the moment, we are in Newcastle upon Tyne on a Rotary scholarship and using up all of our savings. :) We hope you enjoy a small glimpse of what is happening in our lives.

Scandinavia Here We Come
Stockholm, SwedenThis anchor was once attached to The Vasa. This ship sank within 20 minutes on its maiden voyage. The Vasa is gorgeous!!! We will have to add pictures of it later.
This is the skyline view of Copenhagen, Denmark from our hostel.
This is the smallest statue in Stockholm, Sweden. We kept reading about a statue that we were supposed to be looking at in our guide book. This little guy really did take a while to find, because he is so small.I (Lindsay) really was there, even though by these pictures it doesn't look like it.
Mountains Are My Favorite
Interlaken, Switzerland
Jonathan and I riding the cable car up to our hostel in Switzerland. Before the cable car we had traveled on a plane, 2 trains, and a bus to get here.
Gimmelwald, Switzerland All the traveling was worth it. Look at the view from our hostel.

What a place to eat breakfast

God is simply amazing!Gimmelwald

What breath-taking views He has made!
We are standing on top of Schilthorn in Switzerland at 6am. Jungfrau (the highest point in Europe) is in the background.

July
In Midland and enjoying work. Lindsay's finishing up your placement in a few weeks. I again refer you to my October 27, 2005 post of a law student link for some recent and hilarious fun this past week.
We're frantically preparing for the start of our Rotary scholarship in England - just 5 weeks from now. Packing things up and getting ready for some fun. Once we're overseas we'll keep a weekly Monday update. Until then, enjoy July and your remaining summer.

Finishing up the first half of the summer in Dallas. It's been a GREAT experience. Lindsay has been in Lubbock with summer school and her placement at the University Medical Center (UMC). I'm headed to Midland next week to work at a different law firm. We're planning our first trip (30 days) across eastern and central Europe. Will fly into Prague and then visit Krakow, Aushcwitz, Vienna, Budapest, Hallstatt, Salzburg, Interlakken, Murten, Bern, Montreux, Zermatt, Lugano, Pontresina, Munich, Reutte, Rothenburg, Baden Baden, Freiburg, Colmar, Alsace, Koln, Bonn, Rhine Cruise at St. Goar, and finish up in Berlin with a sidetrip to Warsaw. Then we'll fly back to Newcastle and start up school.
